The four-day ERASMUS Bridge project, held in Veszprém in April 2024, Hungary, was a comprehensive endeavor aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation in education. One of the pivotal events within this project was the “Pedagogy Plus: Crafting Questionnaires for Contemporary Educators” workshop, which took place on the final day.

Pedagogy Plus: Crafting Questionnaires for Contemporary Educators

The workshop brought together educational experts in Hungary and teachers from Slovenian and Portuguese Erasmus Bridge partner schools, creating a dynamic environment for learning and collaboration. The aim of the workshop was to design and facilitate a comprehensive learning experience centered around modern teaching methods, effective technology integration, and communication strategies tailored to meet the evolving needs of educators.

Objectives and Insights

The workshop was structured to achieve several key objectives. First and foremost, participants engaged in the design and delivery of workshop content, focusing on contemporary pedagogical approaches, innovative teaching techniques, and strategies for integrating technology into educational practices. Through collaborative discussions and hands-on activities, participants gained practical insights and tools to enhance their teaching effectiveness and student engagement.

Additionally, the workshop provided a platform for participants to reflect on their professional experiences, challenges, and successes in implementing modern teaching methods and technology integration in their classrooms. This reflective discussion fostered peer learning and the exchange of best practices, allowing educators to learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives.

Recognizing the diverse needs and preferences of both younger and older teachers, the workshop also addressed specific individualized concerns and interests. By tailoring workshop activities and discussions to cater to participants’ learning styles, technological proficiency, and professional goals, the workshop ensured maximum relevance and engagement for all participants.

Highlight: Collaborative Questionnaire Development

One of the highlights of the workshop was the collaborative development of a questionnaire designed to gather feedback and insights from participants regarding their experiences during the professional development day. This questionnaire aimed to assess the effectiveness of the workshop content, relevance of the topics covered, and areas for improvement. By soliciting feedback from participants, the goal was to continuously enhance future professional development initiatives and better meet the needs of educators.

Lasting Impact

Overall, the “Pedagogy Plus” workshop was a resounding success, empowering educators with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to thrive in today’s dynamic educational landscape. By fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in teaching, the workshop contributed to the overarching goals of the ERASMUS Bridge project, creating a lasting impact on education in Europe and beyond.

Stay tuned for more updates and insights as we continue to bridge the generational gap in European education through innovative and collaborative efforts!
