Zöld Út Language Exam Veszprém
If you need a language examination for specific purposes or a general language examination, you can take the Zöld Út exam of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences with us. Most of our teachers are also examiners, so every one of our groups prepares for the exam with a highly qualified instructor. Taking a course at our institution is of course not a condition of sitting the exam. Everyone is welcome at our language exams!

Why choose the Zöld Út language exam?
The Zöld Út language examination system
The Zöld Út language exam is a state-recognised professional language examination that all institutions are required to accept. Universities’ internal regulations cannot override the qualification requirements of a degree programme. The exam measures the candidate’s ability to use the language in professional communication situations, both orally and in writing. The professional language exam is therefore based on the communication situations, intentions, and tasks that candidates are likely to encounter. Professional language competence is demonstrated through the four main language skills—reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing, and speaking—as well as mediation skills such as translation and summarization. Accordingly, the exam focuses on measuring these four main language skills and mediation skills. It was important to us to choose a professional language examination that prepares candidates not only for the exam itself, but also for real challenges in the business world.

Notes on the Exam Periods
- C1-level language exams are available only in Gödöllő.
- French language exams are available only in Gödöllő, Budapest and Debrecen.
If you register for a complex examination and wish to take the written component at one of our accredited examination centres other than the locations indicated above, please notify the Examination Centre of your intention by e-mail no later than the registration or late registration deadline.
Please note that issuing certificates takes 60 days. Candidates who need the certificate for a degree or admission should always take this into account, as we cannot issue it earlier than the collection date indicated above!

The Zöld Út language examination system
The exam measures the candidate’s ability to use the language in communication situations, both orally and in writing, in today’s increasingly internationalized world. The exam is therefore based on the communication situations, intentions, and tasks that candidates are likely to encounter. Communicative competence is demonstrated through the four main language skills: reading, listening comprehension, writing, and speaking.
Every part of the exam is general-language focused, with two tasks—one in reading and one in listening—more specifically addressing environmental and environmental-protection topics. This reflects the outstanding importance of environmental protection today. The tasks and topics can be downloaded below the introductory text.
