Practical Instructor

Insedo Ltd.’s business unit supporting employees’ specialised vocational education is looking for professionals who, when required, can carry out dual practical training tasks for the companies we support (based on individual agreements concluded with those companies).

Tasks of practical instructors commissioned by companies

  • Professional liaison with INSEDO Ltd.’s sector coordinator and the vocational education institution
  • Conducting practical classes and, where necessary, classes that reinforce theoretical knowledge for training participants
  • Assigning project tasks in the electronic training management system and evaluating tasks submitted by participants
  • Preparing participants for the vocational examination based on the training programme and the Training and Outcome Requirements of the profession
  • Other tasks based on the agreement concluded between the practical instructor and the company

Application requirements

  • The applicant must be able to demonstrate with supporting documents that they meet the requirements set out in Section 82 of the Vocational Education and Training Act and Section 242 of Government Decree 12/2020 (II. 7.):

    (1) A person may teach at a dual training site if they

    1. a) have legal capacity,
    2. b) are not subject to a ban from an occupation that would preclude them from carrying out specialised vocational teaching activities,
    3. c) hold a state-recognised, at least upper-secondary-level vocational qualification corresponding to the profession undertaken by the dual training site and have at least five years of professional experience corresponding to the qualification concerned, and
    4. d) have passed the chamber practical instructor examination.

    (2) A person is exempt from taking the chamber practical instructor examination if they

    1. a) hold a master craftsperson qualification in the relevant field,
    2. b) in a profession corresponding to that undertaken by the dual training site, have
    3. ba) a relevant higher-level vocational qualification and at least two years of relevant professional experience,
    4. bb) a higher-education degree, a relevant upper-secondary-level vocational qualification, and at least five years of relevant professional experience, or
    5. bc) – in the healthcare sector – a healthcare practice supervisor qualification, or
    6. c) have reached the age of sixty.
    • Strong user-level IT skills
    • Knowledge of electronic training management and task-creation systems (e.g. Redmenta, Moodle, etc.) is an advantage
