Teachers are expected to respond to rapidly changing technologies and new learner needs. TeachQuestPro modernises teacher professional development by integrating gamification and digital learning approaches.
Objectives
- modernise teacher professional development through gamification and digital pedagogy;
- strengthen teachers' digital competences;
- promote innovative and student-centred teaching methodologies;
- increase teachers' engagement and motivation in professional development;
- test gamification approaches in real educational contexts in different European countries;
- create a framework that can be transferred and adapted by other training organisations and educational institutions.
Key results
- an adapted and evaluated gamified teacher training framework;
- national needs assessments and a comparative overview of digital pedagogy in the participating countries;
- pilot implementation of gamification-based approaches;
- training involving 100 teachers;
- a practical Teacher Training Gamification Guide;
- webinars and dissemination activities reaching a broad community of educators and stakeholders;
- an international TeachQuestPro Summit to facilitate knowledge exchange and support wider uptake of the project's methodologies.
